1. Material

6061-T6: High strength, corrosion resistance, suitable for heavy loads.

6063-T5: Better surface finish, excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for architectural applications.


2. Load Bearing

Span and Load Capacity: Defined by the grating's bearing bar size, thickness, and spacing.

Typically specified in terms of:Uniform distributed loads (UDL) in pounds per square foot (PSF) or kilograms per square meter (kg/m²).

Concentrated loads for localized weight.


3. Bar Spacing

Standard: 1 inch or 19mm.

Close-mesh: 7/16 inch or 11mm center-to-center for ADA compliance.


4. Finish

Mill Finish: Natural aluminum surface.

Anodized: Enhanced corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance.

Powder Coated: Available in various colors for better aesthetics and durability.


5. Dimensions

Panel Size: Defined by length and width, typically custom-cut to project requirements.
